This year for the 4th we participated in the Centerville 5k Freedom Run. Yes, I Jayme Sayes participated in a RUN!! I know, I know... it sounds totally out of character for me to do anything athletic and especially just running and running in front of a lot of people for that matter. But I didn't really run that much at all, to be honest. I pretty much power walked/jogged it with Jer's mom and my kids in the stroller. But, oh my gosh, I am so sore today! I look like I'm in the last trimester of pregnancy because my walk is very close to a waddle.

We tried to enact how it would be at the finish line. Look how happy Jen is that she's going to finish first!
My sexy hubby. Love him! He finished first out of all of us, btw. He's always been such a great runner and he doesn't even have to really try. Why was I not so lucky?
And me... Eva and I tried to stay ahead of the "last" crowd. And we succeeded. It took a lot of bobbin and weavin at the end but it paid off. Kind of a cool feeling when you cross the finish line, though... like all those people are there for you, just waiting for you to finish. After the race we attended the Centerville Parade which I will post pics of later. Happy 4th!!

Oh Jayme why would you be a runner at all when you are already SOO stinkin skinny!! You look gorgeous in these pictures after racing! It was fun to see you at the bank the other day! It was great to talk to you!
Your little family should be in vogue magazine!! Your kids are so beautiful I really mean that. I am so proud of you for doing the run. Now you can do the marathon next year!! Looks like you had a good holiday.
Way to go Jaym! And all the Sayes fam! Sad I didn't get to do it this year, no fair that you can look so good and not have to work at it! Oh and LOVE the new pic of the day. He is so adorable.
Geez, you're a cutie. You should run just to get to show off your cute bod in spandex. Seriously though, good work.
